iOS4.1以降、バッテリー消費が激しくなった？ #iPhoneJP #iPhone4JP

iOS4.1にアップデート以降、いつもよりバッテリーの減りが早いことに気が付きました。あと50%は残っている感覚なのに、もう20%近いとか！バックグラウンドに常駐させているアプリはiOS4.0.2の時と変わらないのですけど…。

米国AppleのDiscussionsでもiOS4.1とバッテリーに絡んだ話題は複数のスレッドで盛り上がっているようです。

日本でも同様に。ただ、全てのiOS4.1ユーザーが該当するかといえば、そうでもない様子。

一昨日、AppleのDiscussionsを見ていたときに「Game Center」の話題が目につきました。Game CenterはiOS4.1になってからアカウント登録をしただけで、特にその後は起動しないまま。

ふとGame Centerを起動させてみると「サインイン」したままの状態でした。

とりあえず「サインアウト」。

あと、念のためプッシュ通知もオフに。

その後、念には念をということで電源on/offを実行。

この状態で前日の夜100%充電の状態でスリープ。朝（約7時間後）起きてチェックしてみると99%の表示。1％減でした。この2日間使って、バッテリー消費具合はiOS4.0.2の時に戻ったと思います。

中には一度iOS4.0.2に復元して試した人もいるみたい。

the problem seems to be the GAMECENTER apllication introduced with 4.1, I done the upgrade and after I opened the gamecenter application the battery lose the power very very fast; So after that I reinstalled the previously version 4.0.2, then I reexecute the upgrade to the 4.1 BUT I DIDN'T open the gamecenter application and magically the battery now keep the power for long time.

iOS4.1にアップデート後、Game Centerを開いて（サインインして？）からバッテリー消費がすごく早くなった。そこで一旦iOS4.0.2に復元してから再度iOS4.1にアップデート。それからはGame Centerを一度も開いて（サインインして？）ないから、バッテリーは長持ちしてるよ！

もし、iOS4.1にしてからバッテリー消費が激しくなったなーと感じている人で、Game Centerに心当たりがある人は「サインアウト」等試してみてください。もしかしたら改善されるかも？（少なくとも自環境では改善されました）

このあたりのDiscussionsを見るとGame Centerは悪くないんじゃね？という意見も。日本でも同じ意見の人がいますし、Game Centerを使った場合と使ってない場合で状況が違うのでしょうかねぇ。。

そういえばと思って、iOS4.1にアップデートしたあとフル充電し数日ほぼ放置気味の3GSをみると、バッテリー残量は87%でした。※機内モードon

3GSはiOS4.1にアップデートしただけで何も触っていない（もちろんGame Centerを起動・サインインしていない）わけですが、約4日で-13%減なら気にするほどでは無いかなと。

Exchangeのメールアカウント設定している人は、一旦削除してから再設定すると効果あり？

Found the problem. Somehow in the upgrade to 4.1 the Microsoft Exchange Email account was messed up. Was trying continuously to get email running the radios sucking the life out of the battery. Dropped the account and problem goes away. Phone is running really well and is not hot anymore.

cleared the mobile me account

Set up both accounts again

Status now:
No hardware heat, no battery drain, all apps running, exchange running on push

Status on the counter:
Before: showing equal standby/usage
Now: Showing real time standby/real time usage
battery before: at 85% after 1 hour
battery now: at 99% after 1 hour

自環境でもGoogle関係でExchange設定していますけど、同期は「連絡先」のみにしているから影響無かったのかもしれません。
